Hi all. A great sunny day on Vancouver island. Some went out in search of killer whales and others hand fed wild seals. Both teams lost yesterday against very good representative teams ... Hi all from a very sunny, but now very cold Vancouver. The guys said farewell to their fantastic hosts from Friday and Sat and headed down to Granville Island for lunch.

We then got back on the bus and congratulated our "Princesses of the day !" for both the boys and girls and then headed off to our games in glorious blue skies.

The boys opened proceedings and kept their unbeaten start to the tour in tact, scoring a great victory over our hosts, with Jack and Jake playing very well.

The girls had a great game and posted their first win of the tour winning 5 goals to 2. Young Chloe played really well and Amy was very solid in the middle. 

The guys are with their new hosts tonight and are all looking forward to hiring bikes tomorrow for a ride around Stanley Park (weather permitting).

Well its been a great afternoon/evening of hockey here in Vancouver. On our host's brand new field on the harbour, our girls came up against a very strong local team and unfortunately had a loss but there were a lot of positives to come out of the game with us never having played together before.....and we will certainly be better for it come todays game. Strong performances from our captain for the day Bri and Jess in goals.

Our boys team were ready to goin the 2nd game and clicked from the opening minute and were playing very well, stringing together some great passages of play in attack, going in at halftime 5-0 up. In the second half the boys tried a few things and were very keen to try and get our GK Wes a goal on the field, but unfortunately it was so close but so far !

Great performances from Oliver who got a hat trick, Jack who who was solid at the back and Connor who was steady at left half.
