Update 6 - Farewell Ireland
Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 3:03PM Wed 5/10
Met the boys at the school after their night of billeting. They got the chance to use the facilities this morning including the indoor basketball court, outdoor hurling field and watch a PE class play gaelic football.
We then all boarded the bus and travelled to Waterford where a group toured the Waterford Crystal factory which was fantastic and very interesting, we were able to get close to the manufacturers of the crystal.
Back to our hosts for our match where again we were beaten with the round ball but once we brought out the Sherrin we won the match by 7 points. Our Captain for the match, Aaron Jory, presented the College with thank you gifts and we enjoyed a home cooked meal at the college which was much appreciated.
We arrived at our last hotel in Ireland, at the Rosslare Harbour. Tonight we are having a Trivia Night with questions related to events on the trip so far....will be interesting (thank to Craig Jory and Max Grimmond for organising).
