Senior Footy Tour - October 2012

After two very successful junior international rules tours to Ireland and the UK in 2009 and 2011.....2012 will see our inaugural senior Australian Rules Footy tour to the United States

Departing just after the AFL Grand Final, this will be the ultimate end of season tour.

Wanderers Australia's teams - "The Wanderers", are designed to give players of all levels the opportunity to be a part of an International tour.

The Wanderers" consists of local club, and representative players from across Australia, and ALL abilities are welcome. It does not matter if you are the star of your state team, or on the bench at your local club team... all have a place on a Wanderers Australia footy tour!

Our players range in ability from beginners to representative players from clubs in both metro and regional areas. Teams are them combined with exceptional coaches and managers who will accompany the teams on tour.

Our Adult 18+ tours are a holiday with a difference. You may on other tours get to do a coach tour around the US and you will meet new people on your bus and see the sights, but do you really get to meet the locals (besides those who sit behind the hotel desks ?) ???

Well you certainly do on a Wanderers Tour !

Not only will you get to see all the sights of the destinations you travel to with us, but you will get to meet and chat and get to know the locals - because you will play footy against them! You will also make new mates in your team from across Australia that all have a common interest - playing footy.

Non playing partners and friends are also welcome.

Players aged 18 and older are welcome to join us on this tour, and we play against local clubs in California and Nevada. The tour is paid off via a series of installments over 2012.

Depending on demand we may take two teams which will allow players to play with and against their own level

The tour will start in Los Angeles and Orange County where you will experience Hollywood, them Parks, Baseball, NHL ice Hockey and the NFL with 70,000 fans.

We will then head to Las Vegas, party capital of the universe, where you can take in a show or rock concert, UFC or Boxing live, tour the Grand Canyon, take advantage of the shopping malls, or just soak up the desert sun.

The tour will then finish in San Francisco, where you will have the opportunity to visit Alcatraz, attend an NBA game live, experience Fisherman's Wharf and play against the locals.

The tour will last 16 days in total and you will play 3-4 matches against local Aussie Rules clubs in Southern California, Las Vegas and San Francisco.

The tour will be filled on a first come first in basis.
